Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions seeks a Workforce & Community Partnerships Manager in Richmond, VA to develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies and a regional workforce program. You will collaborate with universities, trade schools, and community organizations to create pipelines of skilled workers for construction to operations, while supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Your role includes workforce forecasting, reporting, and coordinating training and apprenticeship

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in community relations, government affairs, public engagement, external affairs, or stakeholder management.
Experience supporting large capital projects (> $500M TIC).
Strong understanding of government processes and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive workforce development strategy for construction through operations.
Build partnerships with universities, colleges, apprenticeship programs, and workforce orgs.
Foster relationships with community groups, economic development agencies, and public-sector partners.
Coordinate initiatives for local workforce participation, internships, and targeted recruitment.
Provide workforce forecasts, KPIs, and reporting to leadership.
