Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team seeks a WHS Manager to lead a global program and partner with Operations to weave safety into daily work. You will build a high-performing team and drive data-driven safety improvements across North America, delivering real-world solutions that protect people and enhance productivity.

Role requires 50-70% travel, flexibility in shifts, and focus on audits, incident investigations, training, and stakeholder engagement to sustain continuous safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident management and investigations.
• Conduct business reviews and leadership meetings.
• Manage staff development and training.
• Monitor safety assessments and compliance.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement through site inspections and safety initiatives.
