Job summary

Mars seeks a Regional Wet Technology Manager to lead regional WET tech across North America, connecting global tech leadership with local execution and sustaining regional capability. The role drives governance, priorities, and cross-functional alignment across sites, with emphasis on quality, sustainability, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering; MS preferred.
• 5+ years in food technology development, process & product scale-up and/or implementation.
• 2+ years of experience as a people leader developing and engaging a successful team.
• Factory experience.
• Experience in multicultural/international environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set regional WET technology direction and governance with a prioritized roadmap.
• Provide regional decision leadership for deployment balancing innovation, quality, and risk.
• Establish governance, KPIs, escalation paths, and close gaps threatening delivery.
• Represent the region in global forums to shape standards and investment decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team with succession plans.
• Drive regional industrialization, portfolio transfer, and continuity initiatives.
• Own regional conformance of WET product/process specifications and validation strategies.
• Lead regional problem solving using DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma methods.
