Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in the United States seeks a Regional Wet Technology Manager to lead regional WET technology strategy across North America. You will connect global tech leadership with local execution, own deployment and conformance, and build sustainable regional capability through influence across functions and sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food) or related tech.
• M.S. degree is preferred.
• 5+ years in food tech development, process or product scale-up.
• 2+ years as a people leader developing a successful team.
• Factory experience and global/ multicultural work exposure.
• R&D or Quality & Food Safety engineering background.

Responsabilités

• Set regional WET tech direction and governance; translate strategies into a prioritized roadmap.
• Provide regional leadership for WET tech deployment balancing innovation, quality and cost.
• Establish governance, KPIs and escalation pathways; address gaps threatening delivery.
• Represent the region in global WET tech forums and feed regional needs into global standards.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing regional technical team with succession plans.
• Build regional WET depth across sites through coaching, training and knowledge transfer.
• Create an inclusive culture with disciplined experimentation and continuous learning.
• Provide R&D leadership for regional industrialization and portfolio transfers; align cross-functional teams.
• Own Industrial Risk Assessments for new materials and processes; ensure mitigations are explicit.
• Direct industrial trials and Standard Running Condition definitions with robust plans and data-based conclusions.
• Lead deployment, validation, and lifecycle governance of regional WET product/process specs.
• Ensure conformance to Royal Canin WET standards; escalate global issues when needed.
• Drive process capability and continuous improvement with Q&FS and Operations.
• Act as senior regional escalation point for complex material, product and process issues.
• Lead investigations using DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma; convert findings into standards.
• Lead validation and commissioning; define strategy, protocols and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Global WET Technology Specialist on major/global projects while leading regional implementations.
• Provide regional input during development, scale-up, validation and deployment phases.
