Job summary

Veolia is seeking an on-site Wastewater Plant Operator to cover vacations and unplanned absences across multiple facilities. You will support operation and maintenance, supervise technicians, and develop training resources for process knowledge.

The role requires handling day and night shifts and ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient plant performance across the regional sites. You will collect samples, test for impurities, manage data records, and coordinate with management on startup

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operation and control of electric motors, pumps and valves.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations or related field.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts, including 12-hour shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full operational coverage of Veolia-operated facilities in designated region.
• Operate and control pumps, motors, and valves to regulate flow.
• Collect and test wastewater samples and record data.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with technicians and management for start-up projects.
• Provide training and leadership to other operators.
