Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a field operations professional to oversee and support multiple contracted water and wastewater facilities across the region. You will cover vacations, train local technicians, and assist in start-up projects while traveling between sites to ensure compliance and performance.

The role involves process changes, troubleshooting, sampling, and reporting; and will require significant travel, including extended deployments that may last 1–4 weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, required.
• Willingness to learn and be able take instructions on Wastewater treatment processes
• Operational experience of site specific equipment preferred, including: 3+ years of experience in Wastewater treatment plant operations or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia operated facilities in your designated region during vacations and unplanned absences.
• Assist in the operational development of all local technicians within your region through hands-on training visits and training materials.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used at Veolia facilities, including record keeping and lab testing procedures.
• Support new account start-ups by coordinating with SWOT team to develop tasks and training.
• Provide knowledgeable support to local technicians to troubleshoot process issues and encourage proactive decisions.
