Job summary

Veolia, a global environmental services leader, is seeking a traveling Wastewater Plant Operator to cover vacations and absences across multiple facilities in Texas. The role focuses on operating wastewater treatment processes, supporting training of local teams, and contributing to new account startups.

You will handle day and night shifts, test samples, maintain records, ensure safety, and collaborate with management to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wastewater treatment plant operations experience.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot pumps, motors, valves, and sensors.
• Willingness to travel and cover multiple facilities.
• Compliance with Veolia safety programs.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage across designated facilities during vacations and absences.
• Shifts may include day and night; adapt to scheduling needs.
• Train and develop local technicians in your region.
• Monitor treatment processes and adjust as needed to meet standards.
• Coordinate with management for startup projects and improvements.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting to clients.
