Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Area Manager and Business Growth Leader in Tennessee or Northern Alabama to drive organic growth in the integrated water business. You will lead strategy, manage relationships with municipalities, and guide a high-performing team across planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects.

Required: 15+ years in water/wastewater/stormwater, a BS in engineering, and a P.E. license or ability to obtain in 6 months. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater/stormwater project management, design management, or related.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical).
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tennessee and Alabama water business growth strategy and implement the plan to achieve regional goals.
• Oversee and coach a high-performing team, manage client relationships and drive project backlog.
• Collaborate with other Arcadis units to develop solutions and pursue opportunities; travel up to 30% for site visits and meetings.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical)

P.E. License

Master's in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or MBA/MPA
