Wind River Environmental seeks a Regional Wastewater Engineering & Operations Manager to lead engineering and onsite operations across multiple facilities in the Northeast.

The role blends corporate and regional engineering with hands-on plant leadership for facilities in Beacon, NY; Waymart, PA; Old Lyme, CT; and Taunton, MA, with 30–50% travel. Salary ranges from $115,000 to $150,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 15+ years in wastewater treatment.
• Experience managing complex capital projects from scope to completion.
• Financial management including facility P&Ls, operating budgets, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical leadership for wastewater facilities, including process optimization and controls.
• Lead capital improvement projects from concept to execution with budgeting and scheduling.
• Oversee Northeast plant operations across Beacon NY, Waymart PA, Old Lyme CT, and Taunton MA.
• Ensure environmental compliance, safety, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor plant supervisors and operators to strengthen technical capability.
