Miracorp is seeking a Vertical Transportation Specialist II to oversee safety, reliability, and code compliance of elevators, escalators, and lifts within the New York region.

You will provide expert technical guidance to property and project managers, conduct QEI inspections, review maintenance practices, and support modernization projects while maintaining accurate asset inventories and supporting capital VT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid QEI certification from NAESA or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of ASME A17.1, ANSI and other national elevator/escavator safety codes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance docs with precision.
• Experience analyzing inspection data, trends, and contractor performance metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical detail.
• Capable of organizing design data, managing multiple tasks, and functioning in a team.

Responsabilités

• Guides regional property and project managers on VT program matters.
• Coordinates VT inspections and ensures compliance with codes and PBS policies.
• Oversees modernizations, installations, and maintenance with technical standards.
• Maintains regional VT equipment inventory and NCMMS asset tracking.
• Liaises with VT contractors and resolves contract performance issues.
• Contributes to VT strategies and compliance initiatives across regions.
