Job summary

Mercer Advisors in Columbus, OH is seeking a Regional Vice President to build relationships with clients and help them find wealth management solutions, driving sales momentum in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

You will manage your sales pipeline from start to finish, convert and nurture potential clients, and collaborate with teams to deliver tailored financial plans. The role requires 5+ years in financial services, licenses or exemptions, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in financial services.
• Series 65/66 license or exemptions; CFP/CFP designation preferred.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce).
• Strong ability to build relationships and understand client needs.
• Self-motivated with growth mindset and drive.
• Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential wealth management clients over Zoom, phone, and/or in person to understand their needs and share how Mercer can help
• Draw on financial expertise as well as resources across the organization to create distinct value for each client and present a tailored view of how Mercer can help achieve their goals
• Own your sales pipeline from start to finish, converting and nurturing potential clients to create a best-in-class experience for every potential client
• Act as a self-motivated leader within a fast-growing, high-visibility arm of the organization and leverage opportunities for personal growth
