Job summary

Atlanta Life Insurance Company seeks a Regional Vice President, Sales to lead and expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. The role builds and maintains strategic relationships with independent agencies, advisors, and distribution partners, delivering a comprehensive sales strategy across diverse communities.

The position requires strong leadership, extensive life insurance and sales experience, and a proven ability to recruit and train high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• 6 years of life insurance experience required.
• 6 years of sales or wholesaling experience required.
• Active Life, Accident & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Experience working within the IMO, BGA, or direct-to-advisor distribution model preferred.
• Deep product expertise in Indexed Universal Life (IUL) and/or annuities preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements regional sales strategies aligned with mission and revenue goals.
• Recruits, trains, and supports independent agencies, advisors, and strategic partners.
• Identifies and penetrates new markets with diverse and underrepresented communities.
• Serves as SME on product suites and communicates benefits to distributors and clients.
• Monitors sales data to drive decisions and optimize performance.
• Conducts webinars, trainings, and strategy meetings for advisor education.
• Stays informed on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
• Represents Atlanta Life/ALGA at industry events and partner meetings.
• Collaborates with internal teams to streamline onboarding, contracting, and sales support.
