Job summary

Vacatia, a leader in vacation ownership and resort management, is seeking a Regional Vice President of Resort Operations to lead a portfolio of managed resorts and drive exceptional performance across the region.

You will develop Resort General Managers, uphold operating standards, and build high-performing teams to deliver outstanding guest and owner experiences while balancing financial and service results. Regular field presence and strategic leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality or resort operations.
• Experience overseeing multiple resort properties or large-scale operations.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and develop general managers.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight to Resort General Managers across multiple properties.
• Translate company objectives into actionable regional strategies and measurable performance goals.
• Ensure consistency in resort operations, service standards, property conditions, and guest and owner experiences.
• Evaluate operational performance and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Own regional financial performance, including operating budgets, forecasts, expenses, labor efficiency, and profitability.
• Analyze key performance indicators, including occupancy, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and operational productivity.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve overall resort profitability.
• Oversee capital expenditure priorities and operational investments in partnership with corporate leadership.
• Partner with resort leaders to develop and execute plans that deliver sustainable financial and operational results.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop Resort General Managers and emerging hospitality leaders.
• Build strong leadership teams that consistently deliver results and exceptional service.
• Champion associate engagement, retention, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Partner with People & Culture and Talent Acquisition to ensure resorts have the talent and capabilities needed to succeed.
• Create an environment where associates understand expectations, feel supported, and take pride in delivering exceptional experiences.
• Champion a hospitality-first mindset that places guests and owners at the center of operational decisions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, owner feedback, and service performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with resort leaders to resolve escalated concerns and address recurring service challenges.
• Collaborate with Owner Experiences and other teams to strengthen satisfaction, trust, and long-term loyalty.
• Ensure resort teams consistently deliver experiences that reflect Vacatia's standards and service philosophy.
• Ensure resorts operate in accordance with company standards and applicable safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular property visits and operational reviews to evaluate performance, readiness, and compliance.
• Partner with Finance, People & Culture, Risk Management, Technology, Marketing, and other corporate functions.
• Support new initiatives, technology implementations, organizational changes, and operational improvements across the region.
