Job summary

The role oversees planning, development, and performance of key clinical and operational departments, including Radiology, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, and Orthopedic and Oncology Service Lines, driving service excellence and resource optimization.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) or more years of progressive hospital operations leadership experience, preferably within an academic medical center or integrated health system.
• Experience leading complex ancillary services, including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, and Oncology, Rehab and Orthopedic Service Lines.
• Demonstrated success in operational excellence, financial management, strategic planning, and service line growth.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and people management: transformative leadership, coaching, cross-functional collaboration.
• Operational excellence: patient flow optimization, throughput, capacity planning, demand forecasting.
• Financial acumen: budgeting, cost management, revenue cycle understanding, capital planning.
• Quality and safety focus: data-driven improvement, risk mitigation, accreditation readiness.
• Communication: clear, persuasive communication with clinicians, staff, and external partners.
• Technology fluency: EMR systems, BI tools, scheduling and bed-management platforms.
• Change management: leading complex initiatives across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
