Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee 150–200 stores in the region. The VPO will drive profitability, inspire teams, and ensure superior customer experiences with integrity.

The role requires strong multi-unit retail leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to travel extensively to execute initiatives. A Bachelor's in business and a valid driver’s license are required; ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of multi-unit retail management experience.
• Proven track record in meeting sales and gross margin targets.
• Financial and business acumen with profitability management.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute Region strategies with Area HR and Store leadership.
• Improve procedures, share best practices, and drive sales growth.
• Develop annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure high customer service standards and staff development.
• Travel 50-60% to district/store visits to ensure initiative execution.
• Lead diverse teams and foster inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Adapt schedules including days, evenings, weekends; travel weekly.
