Job summary

Mercer Advisors seeks a Regional Vice President, Community in San Francisco to build client relationships and deliver wealth management solutions. You will drive sales momentum within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

You will engage with clients via Zoom/phone/in person, leverage firm resources for tailored solutions, and own the end-to-end sales process while pursuing personal growth in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in financial services
• Series 65 or Series 66 license required – unless exemptions apply
• CFP® designation preferred.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and managing sales pipelines
• Experience building relationships with and understanding the needs of potential clients
• Self-motivated, growth-oriented mindset with drive
• Deep understanding of financial services industry and investment management
• Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals
• Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume environments
• Strong computer aptitude with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Flexibility to travel

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential wealth management clients over Zoom, phone, and/or in person to understand their needs and share how Mercer can help
• Draw on financial expertise as well as resources across the organization to create distinct value for each client and present a tailored view of how Mercer can help achieve their goals
• Own your sales pipeline from start to finish, converting and nurturing potential clients to create a best‑in‑class experience
• Act as a self‑motivated leader within a fast‑growing, high‑visibility arm of the organization and leverage opportunities for personal growth
