Human Resources Business Partner @ Constellation Insurance, Inc. | MBA

Regional Vice President for the Central Region territory is responsible for generating sales and growing AuguStar Life Insurance for assigned territories in person and virtually. Proactively marketing AuguStar Life Insurance products through the recruitment of new General Agents while building and retaining relationships with existing General Agents.

We are specifically looking for an RVP located in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah, and Missouri.

Your role and impact

Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Regional Vice President:

  1. Achieving life insurance sales in the Central Region
  2. Recruit and maintain strong, long-term relationships working across all life distribution channels, including external IMO's (Independent Marketing Organizations), BGA's (Brokerage General Agencies), and agents/brokers as needed to deliver on objectives
  3. Provide product information and sales support, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the company's offerings
  4. Prepare and deliver effective presentations to all distribution channels and their agent/ brokers both virtual and in-person showcasing the value and benefits of the company's products and competitive positioning
  5. Address inquiries and concerns with attentiveness, professionalism and expertise
  6. Educate on the features, benefits, and performance of the company's Life product portfolio
  7. Obtain and share knowledge on industry products, trends, and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to the company
  8. Create and implement a geographical sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and goals
  9. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to help expand the company's business partnerships
  10. Ensure all sales activities and interactions adhere to industry regulations and company policies

Requirements
What sets you up for success
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Life Insurance, sales strategies, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management
  • Sales management or agent recruiting experience; CLU, ChFC, LUTCF or equivalent industry designations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, quarterly and annual sales expectations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to earn business by a combination of phone, virtual and in-person selling techniques
  • Familiarity with online marketing tools and analytics
  • Ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven recommendations/decisions
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce on a daily basis
  • Goal oriented, go-getter and self motivated
  • Candidate with established brokerage relationships preferred
