Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Regional Medical Director to support veterinary hospitals in Louisiana, Southern Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. You will mentor doctors, strengthen hospital teams, and help practices grow while maintaining high medical quality.

As a clinical partner, you will collaborate with the Regional Operations Director to align medical leadership with hospital success, ensuring resources, growth, and excellent patient care across the region.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Current state licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.
• Experience managing multi-site veterinary hospitals is required.
• Hospital ownership or previous Lead Veterinarian experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to present data concisely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Mentor veterinarians across the region and support professional growth through coaching and development planning.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to share best practices, improve workflows, and provide clinical resources.
• Attract and onboard veterinarians to the region and support onboarding for long-term success.
• Partner with the Regional Operations Director to align medical initiatives with hospital growth and scheduling needs.
• Support regional growth by expanding services while maintaining high-quality medicine.
• Represent Mission Pet Health in the veterinary community to build the future talent pipeline.
