Alliance Animal Health seeks a Regional Medical Director to lead two Southern Illinois practices—Lakeside Veterinary Hospital in Carbondale and Central Hospital for Animals in Herrin. You will mentor doctors, shape clinical programs, and balance patient care with leadership duties.

The role offers ownership pathways, production-based compensation, and flexible scheduling to support clinical excellence and team growth across both hospitals.

Formación

• Shows strong clinical and surgical skills in general practice medicine.
• Demonstrates leadership or mentorship experience in a veterinary setting.
• Enjoys teaching, coaching, and developing other veterinarians.
• Organized and capable of balancing clinical duties with leadership responsibilities.
• Collaborates with medical and operations leadership to drive growth and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical leadership and support across both hospital teams
• Continue practicing clinical medicine while serving as a resource for fellow veterinarians
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, including early-career DVMs
• Support clinical growth in surgery, diagnostics, case management, and overall quality of medicine
• Partner with practice and regional leadership to identify opportunities for hospital growth
• Foster a collaborative, positive, high-performing culture
• Help drive consistency in quality of care while respecting autonomy of each hospital
• Support doctor engagement, development, and retention across both practices
• Manage and participate in strategic initiatives to enhance two Southern Illinois hospitals
