Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks an experienced Hospital Area Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across three hospital locations, based at a home hospital. You will work with Hospital Managers, veterinarians and the Regional Director to build high performing teams and drive revenue while maintaining quality patient care.

This role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and a culture of care, with responsibilities for staffing, budgets, compliance and local growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health science or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of direct office management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and meets labor goals.
• Hires, trains and orients new staff; completes paperwork.
• Manages schedules and performance evaluations; weekly reviews with Regional Director.
• Oversees budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management.
