Job summary

Integrea Community Mental Health System in Alabama is seeking a UR Coordinator to manage utilization review data for Region 3, reporting to the Clinical Director. The role blends administrative duties with clinical expertise to support housing and residential services across East Central CMHCs.

You will coordinate with ADMH, maintain databases, monitor lengths of stay, participate in monthly staffings, and help with discharge planning and consumer placement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with the Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) on issues related to housing/residential/crisis slots in Region 3 area (counties serviced by East Central Mental Health Center, Carastar Health, and Integrea Community Mental Health System).
• Maintains a complete and accurate database for all certified housing/residential programs, as well as CRUs and DMHF Hospitals, in the MICRS reporting system.
• Monitor lengths of stay in residential programs in the Region.
• Conduct Discharge Planning Conference calls at least once per month with Region 3 providers to staff consumers under Civil Commitment or at risk of Civil Commitment at Bryce Hospital, DMHF CRU, and/or DMHF Hospital.
• Attends/participates in the monthly staffing of Bryce consumers held by ADMH and discusses housing/residential vacancies throughout Region 3.
• Attends training related to UR function as provided and/or coordinated by ADMH.
• Participates with trainings and meetings to assist ADMH and the Regional BOS.
• Actively participates in the utilization review and management of continuum and Region 3 resources.
