Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta seeks a dedicated Utilization Review Coordinator to join the Case Management team in Augusta, GA. You will coordinate clinical data, manage pre-certifications, and ensure continued authorization in alignment with UHS policies and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes timely data collection, collaboration with physicians and staff, and adherence to clinical criteria in consented systems.

Qualifications

• Masters level education in social science field (social work, counseling, sociology, psychology).
• Must be license-eligible or licensed in Georgia (APC, LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).
• Must have 2 years of experience in a psychiatric health care setting, delivery of care to psychiatric and/or chemically dependent patients and utilization review.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical content of medical records and collaborate with the care team to obtain data for insurance authorization.
• Enter pre-certifications and continued stay reviews into Midas; coordinate follow-ups with the treatment team.
• Gather and document clinical criteria and input into computer systems for timely reviews.
