Job summary

Henkels & McCoy West is seeking an Area Manager to lead power transmission and distribution projects across the West Region. The role oversees field operations, safety culture, and financial performance, partnering with utility clients and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The position requires regular travel across the territory to support project teams, meet customers, and drive project success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in utility construction or related infrastructure industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple utility construction projects and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple transmission and distribution projects, including overhead and underground construction programs.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop resource allocation strategies to optimize workforce, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor project performance, productivity, schedule adherence, and client expectations.
• Lead field visits to assess progress and support operational teams.
