Job summary

Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for the Western Pennsylvania Division to lead and manage electric utility and power infrastructure construction services across the region.

You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling, and profitability while developing customer relationships and optimizing resources. Travel to job sites may be required to ensure operational efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in managing construction operations on mid-large scale projects.
• Strong business development, sales and marketing skills and the ability to identify variations in market areas.
• Working knowledge of RFPs, contracts/review, prints, specifications, and system documentation
• Ability to support site survey and evaluate/review detailed estimates
• Strong background in business management, cost control
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve safety, performance and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and support for the East Region’s Safety Program and goals. Ensure compliance with safety rules and regional safety plans.
• Oversee allocation of manpower and equipment to projects for efficient scheduling and completion.
• Support Directors and VP with issues aiding operation and growth of the Power Line of Business.
• Develop BU strategic plans; reset annually and review quarterly.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and new customers with Sales/Marketing support.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within cost, and meet quality standards.
