Job summary

Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for Birmingham, AL, with regional routes to Nashville, TN. You will run a 6-on, 2-off schedule, home weekly, and aim for strong weekly miles and earnings. Expect competitive pay, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifying drivers must be 21+, hold a Class A license, and meet DOT drug/testing and safety requirements. Sign-on bonuses and production bonuses enhance earnings potential across terminals nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a valid Class A license.
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year within the last 5 years.
• No DUI within 5 years or 10 years if CDL holder at time of DUI.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years; no major accident within 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional freight routes from Birmingham, AL to Nashville, TN and surrounding areas.
• Run 6 days out, 2 days home schedule; home weekly.
• Maintain safety and compliance on all trips; communicate with dispatcher.
• Achieve average weekly miles and earnings targets where applicable.

Knight Transportation is looking for experienced Class A CDL Drivers in Birmingham, AL and the surrounding area to join our team in Nashville, TN! Run regional freight for 6 days and get home for 2 days.

• Up to $2,000 sign on bonus*
• $83,200 average annual earnings for top performers
• $1,600 average weekly pay
