Job summary

J.B. Hunt is seeking regional intermodal truck drivers to operate on a variety of intermodal routes with 100% company-owned equipment and express access to railyard gates.

Earn a competitive pay plan with per mile, per stop, and hourly components; sign-on bonus of $10,000 and weekly home time. Company-provided benefits after 30 days and a 401(k) match are offered.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months trucking experience.
• Intermodal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional intermodal routes to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Maintain fuel, safety, and maintenance discipline to ensure reliability.
• Complete required logs, inspections and shift handoffs with accuracy.

This position is an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and a strong work ethic.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus!
• $0.64-$0.69 cpm
• Detention pay: $20-25 per hour
• Drop and hook pay: $35 per stop
• Live load/unload: $65per stop
• Empty move: $30per load
• Crosstown moves: $25-60per load
• Empty move: $15per load
• Excessive Dunnage: $15 flat rate
• Mechanical breakdown: $20per hour
• Live Lifts: $20 flat rate
• Layover pay: $20 per hour
• Chassis Flips: $20 per hour
• Truck Recovery pay: $25
• Truck order not used: $20
• Yard Pay: $20per hour
• Safety training & mandatory meetingspay: $22per hour
• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $86,000
