Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee multiple retail construction and renovation projects across regions. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high client standards, while coordinating subcontractors and on-site crews.

The role requires frequent travel, strong supervision skills, and a track record in retail store builds. You’ll coordinate with project teams, manage safety programs, and provide detailed site reporting throughout each project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field superintendent experience in construction.
• Min 3 years supervising retail store builds or renovations.
• Strong knowledge of retail construction methods and tenant improvements.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site as required.
• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and supervise multiple retail sites, ensuring schedules and quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors, on-site crews and material deliveries.
• Monitor project budgets and assist with change orders.
• Enforce safety programs; conduct toolbox talks and safety walkthroughs.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs; implement corrective actions.
• Submit daily/weekly site reports and progress photos.
• Lead pre-construction and handover meetings; ensure closeout documentation.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Adapt to changing priorities while meeting milestones.
