Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Traveling Highway Guardrail Foreman to lead a union crew on guardrail and roadway safety projects from the Boise yard. You will travel across the RoadGuard West region and report to the yard each Monday before departures, with crews returning Fridays and some assignments extending up to two weeks.

You will read and interpret plans, supervise tasks, ensure safety, maintain records, and coordinate with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• 3–5 years highway/roadway/heavy civil construction experience.
• At least 2 years as foreman/crew lead or similar field leader.
• Working knowledge of DOT specifications, work-zone traffic control, and OSHA construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with a union crew installing guardrail, impact attenuators, sign structures, and highway safety systems.
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and set production goals to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Conduct toolbox talks, JHAs, and jobsite safety inspections.
