The Gordon Highlander is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations across our growing Southeast market, traveling between projects in Florida and Georgia. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Formación

• 7+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience.
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction and/or tenant improvement projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida and Georgia based on project requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects and adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across assigned projects throughout Florida and Georgia.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and short-term work plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and potential delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements, contract documents, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional jobsite environment.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Consultants throughout the construction process.
• Lead project meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and safety meetings.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify potential challenges and solutions before they impact the schedule.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, and Gordon Highlander standards.
• Manage project documentation including daily reports, schedules, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships through a responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
• Champion and embody the Gordon Highlander Client Centricity Culture in every interaction.
• Promote collaboration across field operations, project management, preconstruction, and leadership teams.
• Lead with a servant-leadership mindset, supporting the success and development of team members while maintaining accountability and performance.
