Gordon Highlander Corporation seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations across the Southeast, traveling between Florida and Georgia on ground-up and tenant-improvement projects including distribution centers and warehouses.

The role requires strong field leadership, construction expertise, organization, and ownership of complex projects in fast-paced environments, with a commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction or tenant improvements.
• Comfort traveling between Florida and Georgia on a project basis.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities across assigned projects in Florida and Georgia.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues and delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections for safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, Owners, and engineers.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and safety teams.
• Review drawings and contracts to anticipate challenges and solutions.
• Ensure work complies with codes and Gordon Highlander standards.
• Manage project documentation and closeout activities.
• Communicate status, risks, and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships with a responsive, proactive approach.
