Job summary

Diversicare Sedgwick is seeking a Travel CNA to provide direct nursing care and support to residents across centers in the region. You will assist with activities of daily living, respond to call lights, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges.

The role requires a valid CNA certification, good communication, and a willingness to travel to multiple centers within the company’s network. Benefits include health coverage, 401k, education assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Certified in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Experience preferred.
• Verbal ability to communicate with residents and to understand instructions from nursing staff.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• To perform or assist the resident with completing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Responds to resident call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transports residents by ambulation or wheelchair to areas of facility (dining room, lobby and activities).
• Reports any significant findings/observations to nurse immediately.
• Assists residents on admissions, transfer and discharge to make a smooth transition.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of residents’ personal possessions.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow proper infection control techniques.
• Respects the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality.
