Amazon.com Services LLC in Wisconsin, Cottage Grove, is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to oversee transportation operations across sites in a defined region. You will lead a team of managers, drive process improvements, ensure safety, quality, and customer experience, and meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires up to 50% travel, flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of management

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Experience with Lean process, Kaizen, or Six Sigma preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred in Engineering/Operations/Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Transportation Area Managers within sites to streamline logistics.
• Oversee safety, quality, performance and customer experience in your region.
• Perform staffing, coaching, and performance appraisal; meet and exceed operational goals.
• Plan strategically, forecast, and develop best practices across shifts and network.
• Mentor and develop teammates; travel up to 50% as required.
• Be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
