Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Transportation leader to support end-to-end logistics operations across multiple routes-to-market. You will provide team leadership, implement transportation strategy, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to optimize service, cost, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience setting and executing strategies in supply chain and/or logistics in a matrix organization.
  • Extensive understanding of transportation operations, third-party logistics management, TMS and/or control tower functions.
  • Experience managing a large number of third-party transportation suppliers with significant budgets.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with strong relationship-building.
  • Knowledge of international transportation network design and customer service.

  • Lead end-to-end collaboration with internal and external partners for effective management and timely solutions.

  • Manage risk, forecast demand, and maintain transportation capacity and supplier relationships.

You will support transportation operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the transportation organization. In addition, you will implement our transportation strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. To excel in this role, you will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.

How You Will Contribute

You will:

  • Deliver value by delivering on the strategy, ensuring optimization across all modes of transportation, balancing service and cost
  • Be responsible for all our safety, service and cost key performance initiatives
  • Have end-to-end responsibility to serve our customers and work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution
  • Develop transport solutions and undertake regular business reviews with vendors to review performance and support selection and negotiations
  • Ensure the right product at the right quantity gets to right place at the right time (damage free)
  • Manage risk management, ensuring continuity of supply through demand forecasting, transportation capacity management and supplier relationships
  • Lead the business toward best-in-class practices by innovating and championing continuous improvement by harnessing internal and external inputs

  • Knowledge of international transportation network design, customer service and collaboration

  • Financial budget planning, analysis and reporting skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach with a focus on continuous improvement, digitalization and innovation
Education / Certifications

Bachelor's degree is required

Work schedule

Standard Business Hours with emergency coverage on weekends

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $122,000 to $167,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
