Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Training and Development Manager to identify, train, and develop associates across multiple operating company locations in the Northeast, implementing new sales, operations, or procurement training programs, and serving as an advocate to boost engagement and performance.

You will coordinate onboarding, conduct train-the-trainer workshops, and track performance, partnering with regional teams, HR, and leadership to ensure high readiness and consistent training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in training, sales, or operations, preferably in foodservice distribution or related industries.
• Developing and facilitating sales and operations training programs.
• Experience in street sales and sales management is a plus.
• Operations management experience in foodservice distribution, supply chain, or restaurant industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify, train, and develop associates across multiple operating company locations in the Northeast.
• Coordinate training within departments to prepare leaders in sales, operations, and procurement.
• Coordinate onboarding with Warehouse and Transportation to prepare new hires for high performance.
• Provide input into hiring decisions based on training performance and outcomes.
• Conduct written performance reviews during training periods and present training using company standards.
