Job summary

Georg Fischer LLC is seeking a Regional Trainer to deliver high-quality training for GF fusion and solvent-welded piping systems across the Midwest region. You will develop training content, videos, and e-learning while coordinating with Area Sales Managers to schedule sessions two to three weeks in advance.

The role requires 7+ years in skilled trades or piping training, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel up to half the year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in skilled trades or training related to plastic piping.
• Strong presentation skills for varied settings (classroom, trailer, hands-on).
• Proficient verbal and written communication; multilingual a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and related office tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule contractor, distributor and end-user trainings.
• Prepare monthly training reports with participants and outcomes.
• Maintain training logs and ensure badges/credentials are current.
• Test trained personnel and mail laminated badges after completion.
• Grow customer contacts and identify additional training opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to optimize training programs.
• Ensure required machines are present and support modifications.
• Maintain Level III certification on GF fusion machines.
• Travel up to 50% domestically with overnight stays.
• Coordinate with Sales Channel representatives and field staff.
• Report training activities to the Technical Training Director.
