Job summary

United States Tennis Association Pacific Northwest (USTA PNW) seeks a Regional Manager of Recreational Tennis for Northwest Washington. The role is remote-based, overseeing seasonal staff, Site Directors, and instructors to grow RecTennis programs across Seattle and Tacoma.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (coaching preferred), proven leadership, and a passion for tennis education and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; relevant coaching experience and/or recognized tennis coaching certification preferred.
• Must reside in the geographical area being served (Northwest Washington: Seattle or Tacoma).
• Passion for the game of tennis and spreading the mission of USTA PNW.
• Proven leadership abilities to lead a team successfully.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong self-starter experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of recreational programs in designated areas.
• Cultivate relationships with parks, schools and city governments.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and manage all administrative tasks related to seasonal Site Directors and Instructors.
• Drive registrations and revenue for new and existing programs in the Rec Tennis regions.
• Oversee registration system, customer data and create rosters.
