Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Regional Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNG/RNG/hydrogen equipment at CNG filling stations and customer sites across the Midland Basin region.

This role reports to the Technician Supervisor and supports safe, reliable fuel delivery operations with a focus on gas compression systems. The position requires 3–5 years in a technician field, an AS degree asset in electrical/instrumentation, and strong communication skills; night shifts (9 on/4 off) with

• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation or related field is an asset.
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plant and fleet operations, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Provide mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at hubs and customer sites.
• Setup and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and safety/regulatory standards.
• Other duties as designated.

Summary

The Regional Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling stations and customer sites. This position reports directly to the Technician Supervisor - Midland Basin. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers.

Schedule

• This position provides a work schedule of 9 days on/4 days off
• Night shift only; Night Premium will be provided

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with the overall plant and fleet operations in the region, while contributing to a safe working environment
• Lending mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites
• Setup and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations
• Ensure that internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met
• Other duties as designated

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience in a technician field role
• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical is an asset or experience in gas processing equipment including production, field gas or gas compression
• Positive attitude with excellent communication & customer service skills
• Class A CDL with Hazmat is an asset
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English
