Job summary

Certarus is seeking a Regional Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain Certarus equipment at CNG filling stations and customer sites. The role reports to the Regional Operations Supervisor and supports CNG delivery operations while providing technical assistance to customers.

This position requires 3–5 years in a technician role, an AS in Electrical/Instrumentation is an asset, and strong communication and safety compliance. CDL with Hazmat is a plus. Competitive benefits and bonus.

• Experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation or gas processing equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support plant and fleet operations in the region and promote a safe working environment.
• Lend mechanical and technical services on gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
• Set up and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment at customer locations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and government safety standards.
• Perform other duties as designated.

Summary

The Regional Technician will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling stations and customer sites. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers.

Schedule

• Night shift is required to support operations
• M-F shift with weekend rotation, based on business levels
• Shift schedule and rotation may change due to customer demands
• $2,000 sign-on bonus

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with the overall plant and fleet operations in the region, while contributing to a safe working environment
• Lending mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites
• Setup and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations
• Ensure that internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met
• Other duties as designated

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience in a technician field role
• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical is an asset or experience in gas processing equipment including production, field gas or gas compression
• Positive attitude with excellent communication & customer service skills
• Class A CDL with Hazmat is an asset
