Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Houston, TX is seeking a Regional Technical Lead to design, coordinate, and deliver technically compliant bid solutions for multimodal Industrial Projects. You will own the technical bid strategy, coordinate inputs from operations, engineering, and HSSE, and ensure alignment with commercial assumptions and pricing.

This role requires 8+ years in project logistics and experience with Breakbulk, Heavy Lift, and Out of Gauge cargo, delivering on-time, high‑quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Project Logistics.
• Experience with Breakbulk, Heavy Lift and Out of Gauge cargo.
• Foundational knowledge of project management principles and tools.
• Minimum 3+ years in tender management or similar role.
• Stress resistant and quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and strategy into robust technical solutions and high‑quality proposals.
• Break down RFQs and tender requirements, identify risks and value drivers.
• Own the technical bid strategy and ensure alignment with pricing and execution feasibility.
• Coordinate technically compliant logistics solutions covering scope, methodology, and interfaces.
• Act as primary technical writer for bids and ensure consistent reflection of value propositions.
