Job summary

TEGNA Inc. invites a Regional Head of Technology & Operations to lead technology and operations across multiple local media properties in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee budgets, security, and staffing while aligning strategic plans with corporate goals. You will collaborate with Content, Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, oversee critical hardware/software, and drive cross-functional projects using Agile methods.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology or operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong technical expertise with broadcast/IT platforms and production tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of Technology and Operations across multiple media properties and budgets.
• Lead special projects and evaluate/implement new technologies.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless workflow and system integration.
• Drive process improvement and leverage AI to optimize workflows.
