Job summary

ECAM in Seattle is seeking a field technician to design, install, service and maintain Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs), CCTV, alarm and related equipment. You will work with operations to ensure projects finish on time and on budget while keeping sites documented and in perfect working order.

The role requires a high school diploma with vocational training and at least one year of CCTV/alarm installation experience, plus a technical background in CCTV, access control and security, and basic

Qualifications

High school diploma plus vocational training or equivalent.
One year’s experience in CCTV or alarm installation.
Technical background in CCTV, access control and security; understanding of basic electricity (low voltage) and electronics.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Maintain MSUs and sites under maintenance agreements in perfect working order; conduct preventative maintenance weekly.
Assist subcontractors, installers, project coordinators, engineering manager and sales with site surveys.
Maintain regular updates with branch staff.
Prepare daily activity reports.
Maintain knowledge in mobile surveillance and related technologies.
Prepare and maintain MSU and job site inventory records.
Maintain good relationships with clients and inform Account Executives of issues.
Transport MSUs to, from and around customer sites.
Review video files as requested; ensure operations is aware of requests.
Assist with assigned projects.
