Job summary

Vesuvius is seeking a Supply Planner to lead daily supply planning across the region and translate demand into actionable supply plans. You will collaborate with manufacturing sites to meet customer commitments and optimize overall inventory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in supply planning, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a track record of reducing total working capital while improving OTIF. This role requires effective cross-functional communication and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in supply chain, operations, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning systems; Power BI is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams and understanding production processes.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day supply planning activities across the region.
• Convert forecasts into supply plans balancing service, cost and inventory targets.
• Monitor constraints and material availability to adjust plans proactively.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on risks and mitigations.
• Manage consignment stock and safety stock levels; regional replenishment plans.
• Attend plant-level scheduling calls to prioritize orders and coordinate with production.
