AHRC New York City is a family‑governed organization that advocates for neurodiverse individuals to lead full and equitable lives. We are seeking a Regional Supervisor for Hudson River Services to oversee intercompany facilities in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Responsibilities
- Supervise HRS Production Specialists, direct labor employees, and participants, including scheduling, daily communication, and problem‑solving.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, completing and reviewing a quality‑control sheet monthly and addressing inspection outcomes with on‑site staff.
- Participate in weekly face‑to‑face meetings with the HRS manager, submit inspection files, and communicate with staff primarily in writing.
- Maintain completion of billing, follow up on past‑due accounts, and keep accurate inventory and equipment lists.
- Cover work shifts as needed and perform necessary janitorial tasks such as strip‑and‑wax floors and steam cleaning carpets.
- Develop new contracts and business opportunities in the private sector, leveraging knowledge of janitorial manpower and productivity correlation.
- Work a flexible schedule; the position is salaried and requires autonomy over work timing.
Qualifications
- Minimum four years of janitorial experience and at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Strong motivation, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills.
- Capability to perform physical janitorial duties such as strip‑and‑wax and steam cleaning.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and possess a valid NY or Tri‑State driver’s license with personal transportation (preferred).
