Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Substation Protection & Control Engineer to lead technical authority and deliver large HV projects across multiple offices. The role combines expert protection and control engineering with people leadership and client service.

You will mentor engineers, manage project performance and resources, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable power systems while upholding CDM Smith quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required; PE license preferred.
• 15 years of related experience in power delivery or protection and control.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience leading regional or multi-office engineering teams.
• Experience with high-voltage substations protection up to 345 kV.

• Lead the design, delivery, and technical execution of HV substations.
