1. Act as a regional liaison between the Global Study Manager and various CCLS departments involved in the study.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a regional liaison between assigned Client representatives (e.g., CRA, Site Monitors) and the local CCLS platform; occasionally represent the Global Study Manager in interactions with the main client contact.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Study Manager throughout all study stages, from setup to closure.
- Review the study Statement of Work (SOW) for local feasibility and provide recommendations to the Study Design Lead.
- Ensure detailed knowledge of SOW specifications and understand their impact on operational aspects of the trial.
- Manage day-to-day local study activities, including logistics, monitoring, and supplies, and keep the Global Study Manager informed.
- Monitor and resolve local study issues, maintaining communication with the Global Study Manager.
- Implement monitoring and performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with the Global Study Manager on tasks related to the Global Monitoring Plan.
- Work effectively in a matrix environment, handling tasks delegated to Regional Study Coordinators and other functional groups, demonstrating flexibility.
- Participate in functional meetings (e.g., CLFs) and contribute to process updates.
- Comply with CCLS Global Project Management strategies.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Interaction:
The Regional Study Coordinator interacts regularly with internal teams and occasionally with external clients.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven teamwork skills.
- Experience with department processes and tools.
- Ability to liaise with internal departments and facilitate meetings.
- Participation in process improvement initiatives.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (education may substitute for experience).
Education/Qualifications/Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
- Proficiency with computer and office software (e.g., Word, Excel, MS Access, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal, influence, and negotiation skills.
