Job summary

Lam Research in Phoenix seeks a Regional Spares Planner to develop and execute spare parts inventory strategies for a North America account. Align with customer, account team, global planning, supply chain, and logistics to optimize availability, positioning, and uptime commitments.

The role focuses on fab ramps, installed base growth, tool utilization, and balancing inventory investments with productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive supply chain planning, inventory or demand planning experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and other planning, inventory management, and analytics tools.
• Understanding BOM structures, forecasting methods, and inventory optimization.
• Experience developing and executing inventory strategies to meet service and productivity goals.
• Experience collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Regional Spares Planner for a North America account, aligning with teams on availability and priorities.
• Develop and execute inventory plans supporting fab ramps, installed base growth, and uptime objectives.
• Analyze consumption trends, forecasts, and base changes to set stocking levels and locations.
• Optimize inventory placement for regional depot and customer-consigned inventory.
• Monitor service levels, turns, forecast accuracy, aging, and obsolete inventory; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with account teams, planning, supply chain, and logistics to resolve shortages and escalations.
• Develop first-in-fab spare parts strategies for tool installations.
• Lead continuous improvements to availability, forecast accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
