Job summary

STGi seeks a Regional Social Services & Activities Director to oversee psychosocial services and activity programs across multiple state veterans homes, ensuring regulatory compliance and resident well‑being. This role provides leadership, training, and operational support to facility Social Services Directors and Activities Directors.

The position requires 3–5 years in long‑term care and 2+ years in a leadership role, with travel across the region and strong CMS knowledge to support survey

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field required.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in long‑term care; 2+ years in leadership.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations for long‑term care and MDS 3.0 documentation.
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
• Licensure: LSW/LCSW preferred; CTRS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee psychosocial services and activity programs across multiple facilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Lead, train, and support Social Services Directors and Activities Directors.
• Monitor quality measures and participate in QAPI initiatives.
• Coordinate behavioral health and community resources.
• Travel regularly to assigned facilities.
