Hussmann is seeking an Area Service Manager to oversee service operations for a regional customer base. You will manage contracts, field teams, and budget performance while driving customer satisfaction and growth.

Responsibilities include safety culture development, risk management, and coordination across departments to ensure timely service delivery. The role requires travel and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in service operations or a related field.
• Knowledge of commercial refrigeration/HVAC is preferred.
• Strong leadership, business acumen, and multitasking ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel within the region and 24/7 availability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage service operations, contracts, emergency service, renewals, and changes.
• Own customer satisfaction and manage relationships and growth.
• Lead safety culture and conduct safety inspections and investigations.
• Identify service requirements and plan to maintain profitability.
• Develop budgets, oversee projects, identify cost savings and risk.
• Periodize schedules to align with contracts and customer needs.
• Review contracts and estimates using risk analysis.
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage hiring, promotion, discipline.
• Coach and onboard new service team members.
• Analyze market conditions to improve service performance and relationships.
• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration for process issues and invoicing.
