Job summary

ACC Environmental Consultants is seeking a Senior Licensed Geologist / Project Manager to lead environmental investigations and remediation across Oregon and Washington. This senior technical and client-facing role will guide project strategy, growth, and staff mentorship.

The ideal candidate holds licensure in Oregon and/or Washington, brings 8+ years of environmental consulting experience, and has strong regulatory knowledge. Expect leadership opportunities within the regional practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Earth Sciences, or related field.
• Licensed Geologist in Oregon and/or Washington; reciprocal licensure possible.
• 8+ years of environmental consulting experience with PM responsibilities.
• Experience with site investigations, sampling, remediation, and regulatory interaction.
• Knowledge of Oregon/Washington cleanup programs and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills.
• Experience managing client relationships, budgets, and schedules.
• Willingness to perform occasional field work and regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental projects from site investigation to regulatory closure.
• Provide senior technical direction on geology, hydrogeology, and remediation strategies.
• Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and sampling plans.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables with high client service.
• Support business development through client relationship management and proposals.
• Mentor junior geologists and staff.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams across Oregon/Washington.
• Perform fieldwork when necessary to support project needs.
