Job summary

Summit School Services LLC is seeking a Training Program Leader to oversee the school bus training program and supervise a team of Driver Instructors. You will drive accountability, develop staff, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.

You will coordinate scheduling, conduct safety meetings, and maintain training records while staying current with state and federal transportation rules. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 3 years as a Trainer in school bus transportation industry desired.
• Supervisory experience preferred; supervising/training a driver workforce.
• Knowledge of company regulations and state/federal transportation laws.
• Must complete applicable state certification and/or Train the Trainer program; equivalent experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the implementation of the school bus training program.
• Drive accountability and supervise Driver Instructors to meet objectives.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to instructors.
• Oversee hiring, disciplinary actions, and policy compliance for instructors.
• Maintain records of training, progress, and certifications.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
